Happy New Year!!! (Two weeks later) :-)

We spent a week in our hometown for Christmas and then headed back home to ring in the new year. We started off the day with a trip to the Children's Museum. They do a New Year's party where they ring in the new year at 12pm instead of 12 am. They did a count down and everything! We had a lot of fun, but it was extremely crowded...not sure if we'll do that again next year.

That evening we headed to the Callahan's to celebrate the New Year. I made a lasagna and Ashley made a salad and a yummy dessert. It was a low key night with some of our best friends. The perfect way to ring in the New Year! This picture cracked me up because Brady was playing, but Cole was convinced he was the one playing. Brady was loving their big T.V. and getting to play the Wii on it.

We don't really set New Year's resolutions in our house, but there are always things we are trying to do. Spend more time together without the kiddos, eat healthy, exercise and spend time in the Word. I have a feeling 2011 will bring lots of changes in the Sabelhaus house, but only the Lord knows what those will be. For 2011 we pray for patience with our boys, lots of family time together and faith to trust the Lord's plan for our family for 2011.
